Various photos here show work on many rare books that have been completely recovered and stamped. Many times the original front and back boards can be reused making a new spine. Quotes vary on work done.

Johnson’s Dictionary: This is a 2 volume set of dictionaries that are recovered in tan calf leather using red and black labels on the spine. The endsheets used were papers made for 18 th century restoration work.

Memoirs of Marmontel: Four volumes have marble paper on the boards with tan calf leather on the spine. All the decorative stamping is with gold.

Restored Family Bible: This is an example of restoration work using the original spine and boards from the Bible and reattaching them together to make the book complete again and usable.

Congreve Works & Divine Legation of Moses by Warburton: Both photos show calf bindings with decorative gold stampings and labels.

Cookbooks:
Both cookbooks had some minor paper repair to the pages. The original end sheets were restored. The covers are bookcloth with decorative stampings in gold or black.
